As Rad slowly starts taking over my my free time, I look for user grade razors on the cheap to try out. I just won this on eBay:

nah, he didn't lose money. That is a cheap retail price the OP paid but the seller probably picked it up for a buck or two.

It's a good deal, but getting stuff like this is very dangerous. Cheap razors are a gateway drug. In no time you will end up in a bidding war for a Darwin.

Got my new razor in today. Very nice considering the price. It has some tarnishing on the handle but nothing I can't polish out. No real scratches or metal imperfections. The plating is wearing on the head and the ball of the handle. It's surprisingly hefty compared to my goodwill and superspeed.

My assumption is its a Tech (ad doesn't say)there are no markings underneath. Does that mean its a 38-49? Is there any other way of dating it?
