Hot with a cold rinse.
I fill the sink with enough WARM water to rinse the razor between strokes. After a pass I drain the sink. I rinse with COLD water. And repeat a 2nd time.
The soap/cream/lather/hair/ is more easily removed from the razor with warm water I find. But i enjoy a cold water rinse. Thankfully I’m afforded the luxury of not having to choose warm or cold. I can use both anytime I want.

Usually cold water but during winter, I go with warm.
"Cold" water here all the way since it's summer 365 days a year in singapore.
And my definition of "cold" might even be warm to some of you.
I did try hot water shave once and didn't like it that much maybe because I boiled the water in a heater beforehand to make coffee. LOL.

I prefer cold shave for some unknown reason .
Ok, have u tried to shave with chilled water, like from refrigerator?
Cold in the summer (currently) and warm in the winter.
Cold, unless I shave in the shower. I keep a jug of distilled water in the fridge as brush/lather water.
Hot water year round. Very little feels better to my skin.
Hot shower and hot water during my shave. Then a cold water rinse to finish! 
Always cold these days..I find even if I have a hot shower the skin on my face instantly dries out.
I agree 100%. I have even started taking lukewarm showers. Since I started cold water shaving and taking lukewarm showers all of my skin problems and irritation from shaving disappeared.

Hot Water but based off this thread going to try cold.
Warm water, but may try cold for the summer at least.
Warm in the sink to clean the razor and to wet face in between passes. Cold to rinse. Very refreshing.
Hot water, hot rinse, all seasons. In the winter, I microwave my scuttle, too.
