Did this for our very own Amund (Blix), the original scales had broke off by the pivot pin.

Didn't do much on the blade, just a light buffing through the polishing compounds.

The scales are made of tranculent horn in the original design, kept the original wedge and center spacer, pins are Nickel Silver with brass washers.

I'm not sure what type of horn it is, I buy my horn from an eBay vendor and I can't recall him mention what type, and to be honest I don't care as long as it looks good (and smell bad )
