Honing trianning!

I bought some Naniwa stones. and 220 diamond plate for flattening. still need an 8k and 1k. I want to learn how to hone.

I need some advice. which razor should I buy for my training, should I buy some from ebay?. or a gold dollar?. thanks to Slash's link. I saw cheap 3-4$ GD #66 for sale. or should I buy cheap razors from ebay that looks in an acceptable condition?

and thank you. any tips or advice on honing will be appreciated.

ebay is hit or miss and you could end up with some blades that will take a long time to hone and you may fine some that are great. gds are a better choice imo as they have plenty of steel and are 6/8 so you can dull and hone the same one hundreds of times.
