So, I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who has helped me. I've been posting a lot lately asking honing related questions and so many of you were willing to take your time and give me advice. A lot of one on one advice through email/texts as well.

I picked up a razor when I was down in NC on vacation at an antique shop. It had a slight chip in the edge, but it was in decent condition. Now, I just shaved with it and it was a fantastic shave. I brought it from beat up to shave ready. Such a good feeling.

Definitely not a hone meister. I need to try again and hope that I can duplicte this process. I did use my coti and my BBW.

Progression was bevel set on my king 1k then thick slurry on the BBW down to milky. Switched to coti went from milky to water then I finished on the smaller coti because the blade is a little warped and it was easier on something narrow. I picked up a scope from radio shack so I could see if the edge was getting polished or not
