Honey ginger Old Fashioned

I have been making these for a few week. Honey,Ginger simple syrup. Your favorite rye, dash of orange bitters, dash of angostura bitters. Drink up!

I go pretty light on the simple syrup, I don’t care for sweet drinks but this is turning into a favorite

Honey and ginger marry well with rye and with bourbon. When I was in Louisville for a couple of weeks, some folks were adding a bit of ginger liqueur to bourbon on the rocks.
