hone

I was hoping someone could help me with this. I want to buy a honing stone for my razor but I also want to use it for kitchen knives as well. Is there a certain grit I should look for or do I need to get two separate stones for this?

you'll need a couple of stones.

for example: ive got as 1200 grit for my kitchen knvives and to set a bevel on razors, then 4000 grit to finish off the bevel, then 8000 to smooth it all out and then 12000 to finish it all out
