I just made a new strop, from pure saddlery gear, 14oz English bridle, , solid brass nickel chicago screws, and heavy D-rings, its had a stropping length of 24 1/2, i may shorten it though-----------

yes 3", i reduced the length , to 24" with a 19" strop area---- 23" is too much area it started to roll at the edges, now its flat all the way through the strop area

i just added a grip , the D-ring was not comfortable , this baby is a beast
I must say, that looks pretty damn good.
