Homemade Razor and Brush stand.

This may be already known information for many here, but I found a website called shavingzone.com with illustrations on how to make a razor and brush stand using only a wired hanger. It was easy to do, works great and saved me at least $10 bucks after looking at Wal-Mart, Target, and other home hardware places. Sorry I could not link, just not that computer savvy. If you go to the site you can find it under recent post which you can click on.

Someone posted, I don't recall who, "Instead of using wire coat hanger to go to your local garden supply and purchase their plastic coated, wire, plant supports." They apparently come in lengths long enough to make razor and brush stands. They look nicer and with the coating you do not have to worry about rusting.

I tried this.

It ended up looking like a home made coat hanger razor and brush stand, made at the home of an extremely unskilled razor and brush stand maker.

To counterbalance the hideousness, it fell over all the time.

My wife, when she saw it, proclaimed that any vestige of class that my "decorating" in the bathroom contained would be overcome and flayed alive by this artifact from the Clampett's outhouse.

YMMV. Especially if you have the slightest bit of craftsmanship, since I don't.

I don't know what you're talking about, those look pretty good to me. In fact they inspired me to share my recent mod on my car. Sure keeps me cool while making those frequent trips to the quickiemart to buy Dorals and scratch-offs.

The car door may look funny now, but after he paints it it'll match the car and you'll never know.

(Phil, you ought to do what I did, put some screen in where the window glass goes to keep the bugs out.)
