This morning I used my homemade Cella stick to test out a new small brush (Simpsons Classic 1). The Cella is very soft so it does not apply to the skin exactly like the hard soaps used in sticks, where your beard becomes dotted with droplets of the soap. With Cella, there is also some spreading of the product, like butter on a (toasted) bagel. I found that this actually applies more than the quantity needed and ensures a superb lather assuming the brush does its job (which it did). The shave was superb and was a nice start to the day. The point is that Cella works great as a stick even if its texture is somewhat unconventional for a soap stick.
P.S. Most people have no problem lathering Cella. I did, in part due to the stupid tiny tub it comes in. That is why I tried the stick. In retrospect, I could have just pressed and molded it into a bigger container.
