Anybody have any recipes for homemade alcohol based recipes for aftershaves? I need to save money to support RAD and SSAD.

I don't, but I've thought about it. The topic has come up from time to time. Here's some of the more helpful threads I've found:

Sounds too much like trouble to me, but Google it and you will find quite a number of sites w/recipes or ideas about this.
I live in Phoenix where it's hot and dry. I decided to make a homemade aftershave that hydrates the skin.
3 parts alcohol (ethyl, rum, whiskey, vodka: you choose the flavor)
1 part Witch hazel
1 TBSP glycerin
Since I live in the desert, I can add special natural growing ingredients for their antiseptic and astringent properties:
Half a handful of creosote and half a handful of sage.
The ingredients are fairly cheap.
Your face will feel AMAZING!
Note: I am new to wet shaving and I have never used a store bought aftershave.
