I need a stand, but can't bring myself to part money for something we used to make in Tech class in school, have no tools at home to do it myself though.

That is very nicely designed, you have a good eye. The pillars are nice. made me think there could be a good line in designing stands that resemble architechure, Roman and Greek, (coluseum, Accropolis) Washington monument, Manhattan skyline, endless.

I might take a hammer and blowtorch to a tatty eifel Towerr model I have and create some 'Stand Art' myself.

Thanks, I certainly was going for an art deco motif as it seemed to suit the razor. It's constructed from some maple scrap i had in my shop. After painting it, I gave it several coats of poly urethane to protect it from water damage.
