Hoffritz good or bad?

My buddy sold me an older hoffritz for $40. It is sound but I had to clean it. Did I do well?

The vintage hoffritz slants will go for that or often more. I'm not sure about other models.

Outstanding the Hoffritz is an excellent razor.

I wouldn't pay that for all models, for instance a travel razor. But it sounds OK, any pics?

Update to the Hoffritz, I had meant to say I would need to clean it but unfortunately when I went to pick it up he had second thoughts and hung on to it. Creep, he killed the excitement of a good find.
