HLS Elbrus

Greetings to everyone!
I would to know if there is anyone owns the elbrus by HomeLikeShaving and like to share his experience with it.

There is on YT review and comparison with Taiga. Looks similar as Taiga, efficient, smooth and possible open to have huge gap if needed. Just in slant execution.

I have only Taiga but it adjustable with very wide settings and similar to Elbrus.
I guess it can be as efficient as a Blackbird on higher settings and more on very high, and as mild as Henson on low.

But have to say I think efficiency in HLS Taiga and Elbrus is because of bigger gap, but with relatively moderate blade exposure, Blackbird is know to have small gap but high blade exposure. It can shave with similar efficiency, if you find proper setting on Elbrus, but possibly with different feeling

I like it quite a bit more than the taiga. It doesn't shave like anything else I've ever owned so it takes some getting used to. Efficient and comfortable. Higher settings are way more efficient than the blackbird.

That is exactly what I was thinking about!!!

Wow!!!! You certainly own some beauties!!!!

It took me a few shaves to figure it out.
From 1 to about 4, I find it very angle sensitive.
Above 4, it starts to get less angle specific. Increasing the gap comes with increasing blade feel and better effeciency. I think that they all overclock directly from HLS, mine overclocks to just under 9(3) and anything 6 and above I need to keep a very light touch.

For me it's not a razor to use when I'm a bit rushed.
