High Resolution Pictures Needed for Wiki Entries

Hello B&B photogs,

I searched around but couldn't find a high res request thread, so I thought I'd start it up myself. I've recently taken to working on the B&B wiki, and in editing/creating some pages have come to realize the lack of high resolution pictures on some pages. Therefore I come to B&B and specifically those who frequent the Darkroom for their photographic prowess. I am aware some images may be available in the review section, but I want to ensure the authors give express permission for their use in the wiki.

In this thread I (and anyone else with similar intentions, should they desire) will be posting replies with items requiring high resolution photographs for the wiki. Should you have any of the items requested and the time/desire to photograph them for use in the wiki, please quote the original request and post the image(s) in a reply. Photographs should strike a balance between reference and artistic. The subject of the photograph should be immediately clear and items included for reference should not overshadow the subject.

By answering a request and posting an image of your own creation, you grant permission for it's reproduction in use for on B&B and the B&B wiki. Thanks in advance B&B, you're the best. :thumbup1:

How high is high-res? 3meg, 8meg, more? Be glad to comply but want to be sure I send the right resolution.

The images posted by Jim are good examples, I'm just looking for pictures that weren't taken with cell phone cameras, web cams, etc. Crisp, clear images of the items in question. The bigger the better, but beggars can't be choosers :biggrin1:

This one has a 21 mm knot. Nice brush, soft tips, and especially nice grippy handle. I recommend it highly.

Jeep, those pics are stunning yet again! I really want to try one of those GEMs, having seen those pics, especially the first one! And the scuttles are superb! Very nice detail photography gents! I can't wait to save up for a higher quality dslr or similar camera...
