Welcome, Steve. Stirling soaps along with the famous Tabac are most excellent. I wish I'd found them earlier in my shaving journey (now 8 years in).

I'm cheap; stipulated. I've bought most of my razors on eBay, inexpensive vintage (read: "used") ones. Recently locked up like most of us by ridiculous governmental edicts, I purchased two new ones, and they cost a bit more USD but are superb shavers. That said, you don't have to spend a lot of money to settle into a fine shaving routine.
