I've evaluated both old & new Proraso soap. I know that I'm probably in a very small minority but I'm disappointed in the reformulation. The performance is great as always but I liked the scent and level of menthol in the old soap. The new one seems a little understrength. I'm curious as to why they couldn't just put out a new product in addition to the old. IMHO this was a step down, but as always YMMV.

Never tried the old Proraso soap but if the aftershave splash is anything to go by, then I would also agree with your comparison of old versus new.
I'm 100% with you I really dislike the new.
At least it doesn't have Parabens and other such 'nasty' stuff in it anymore~

True but I believe they could have reformulated and kept the original flavor. Looks like I'll be buying up old stock.
Time for you to stock up on C. O. Bigelow!

For now it probably is the old stuff. I'm more of a fan of soaps rather than creams though.
