Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender Shave Cream

I see a good number of obscure items for sale, including Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender cream, on a vendor's website here.

Does anyone have experience with this low priced cream?

It's a very rich, concentrated cream, and like almost all creams from Bulgaria,it gives a great lather. The rose is rose, the lavender has no oil of lavender in it at all,it smells good, but do not expect anything close to real lavender ,scent wise.

I am the vendor who sells the products the thread is about.

Rose of Bulgaria contains natural rose oil and is a white cream. Some creams are dyed and perfume scented which you compare these to.

The lavender scent is a matter of opinion and all depends on what you are using as the comparison. Again, many products out there are parfume or perfume scented which gives the illusion to some as to what true lavender scent is.

I have a tube of Herbs of Bulgaria (and Rose of Bulgaria) and I like it quite a bit. It doesn't take much to get some fantastic lather.

Bulgarian creams are generally pretty awesome. A little product goes a long way and they last and last. I'd also trust malocchio's advice and order the rose as well if you like that fragrance.

For the record Malocchio the product does contain Lavandula Angusitifolia if you check the box you still might have. I think once again people are fooled by what they think a scent should be or is artificially. Also Lavender, Rose, and other natural oils are in products for their medicinal purpose more so than a scent. The Bulgarian products have the natural oils, others with just a perfume will not provide skin care for you.

This is correct,I retract the statement "no lavender oil",it does have lavendula oil in it,but I really cannot detect anything in the scent that even resembles the scent of lavender, english, french, bulgarian or oregon ,and I have smelled them all.Art of Shaving lavender cream is what true lavender scent is all about, and there are some tubbed creams from the UK that are true to the scent of lavender.Herbs of Bulgaria is a damn good cream, fantastic lather and it does smell good, there is just not enough of the lavender essence or oil to bring it to the forefront of the creams scent, there is so little of it in there it is undetectable.

I'll vouch for the Herbs of Bulgaria rose cream. The scent is wonderful and it is a good shave. Now that AOS has discontinued there, it is hands down my favorite rose cream or soap, beating out taylors, trumpers, salters handily.

Honestly i just checked their site rwo weeks back and when i too did not see them i e mailed to make sure they still produced it. They do!

Why wife just used the Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender Shave Cream and said it produced the best lather she has ever used and that her legs feel amazing.

Thanks Joe for bringing great products that do not cost an arm and a leg to the market.

Tried it for the first time today. Lathered up incredibly well with my silvertip. Scent is wonderful and not overpowering. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in a lavender shave cream. Wonderful BBS shave with this cream and my ER Streamline.

I picked some of this up a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed the scent and got good lather. But it broke my face out after I was done shaving.

I just received a tube of this! I think it smells great, albeit a little artificial, but boy does it lather. Just about a pea sized amount with a few drops of water and it created enough rich, dense foam for about 2 or three passes! I'll be ordering the rose soon.
