Help with Natural Products soap, shampoo etc.

robbert, where would one get said products?

I got these products locally in the Netherlands, but you can get them on line world wide too.

available direct

http://www.aesop.net.au/
you can see stockists in the u.s.

'savon de marseille' is available in a lot of places if you google it, also on eBay.

the tooth paste is also available direct @: http://www.himalayadirect.com/default.asp

Also a good tip is to read up on the ingredients on the products you plan on buying and searching them on line what they actually are, when there are too many names you can't pronounce in a product, it's usually worth investigating what it is, and probably skip on buying it.

Good luck

I need people to sound off on what they would reccomend (smell and function) for shower soap(gel or bar) shampoos and deodarant. Hellllllllllpppppppp

I tried for years to find a natural deodorant that really worked without success, but through lots of reading and experimentation I use 50/50 blend of baking soda and corn starch. The baking soda is the key ingredient. I can go 24 hours without any odor.

how do you apply it

Right after a shower. I don't know why it works so well. I've seen other makers of talc/cornstarch body powders claim their products have baking soda, but none work as well as my own concoction. I think it's because their baking soda to cornstarch ratio is very low.

I've been using Grandpa's bar soaps for awhile now. The Pine Tar soap smells weird but will leave your skin smooth as a baby's. Their other soaps, like Witch Hazel, smell and feel good.

I generally use the Witch Hazel daily and the Pine Tar once a week.

thanks for the rec's all-- checked out mystic nice setup and stuff-- planning to try: bath soaps shampoo soaps, and hair stuff

For shampoo I use the Alba products. Works very well for me. I use the grommets soaps as well.

Safeway grocery stores are supposed to start carrying more of the natural/organic stuff.
