Help with date and identification

I purchased this safety razor in the mid- 1980's att a charity store in London. I was in college and on an international excursion with classmates. I learned recently that vintage razors are becoming collectible and many are using them (or newer versions) instead of modern multi-blade disposables. An internet search yielded no information on this razor. The lining reads, "The Frass (?) Safety Razor" English Manufacturing.

That looks like a Gillette Old Type clone with a fancier handle. Enjoy. [emoji610][emoji6]

If you use the number from the handle you will find a couple if things.

Thanks, I suppose that there is a database site where I can input the serial number from the handle? I'll go look for it.
