Help with cleaning Platinum Plaisir?

I'm having some trouble here and I was hoping someone might have more knowledge on the inner workings of this pen then me. I wanted to try out a different ink that I recently received in a PIF from rickboone1 and I went to flush out the old ink. All the cleaning went fine with the convertor and the nib. But I can't get the last of the pink ink out of the grey part of the pen (below). I believe that's called the feed but I'm not entirely sure. I was looking around the house for a bulb syringe but I can't find one. I figured this part must be removable but I can't figure out how to get it out. Is it removable? Or is there some other way I should be approaching cleaning it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spend the couple of bucks on a bulb syringe. The end will fit the converter nipple. Attach bulb, insert nib end into clean water. Squeeze bulb forcing water through, both ways.

Okay. I'm pretty sure that I won't be getting it apart so I think this is the best bet. I've got SWMBO looking for one around the house. I know there's on there somewhere.

The clean-up on the Plaisir can be a bit of a pain in the butt but a few extra squeezes should do the trick. I leave the bulb attached to force the flush both in and out of the section. Good luck.

I'm gonna pick one up. It'll come in handy. I forgot to do so after work and I'm kicking myself now.

I went ahead and tapped and flushed like crazy till I was satisfied. Then filled it up with black ink so I didn't have to worry too much if I missed some. It's writing fine now but if I wanna try a different ink, like a lighter colored one, I'm gonna want to have that bulb syringe handy.

Oh, and I've done more research and I'm convinced that the feed is not coming out. Bummer. It's a bit difficult to clean.
