Help to identify Razor

He is a member here and possibly the most capable of repairing those issues. He is located in USA though and for you being in Bristol, UK that should not help...

Anyway.. here is the photo of the element:

And here is the thread that deals with it. It's Parat razor but has the same construction as your rocket:

Thanks very much for the advice. It is much appreciated. Looks quite a flimsy design the way the baseplate is crimped to the handle. I would imagine the metal fatigues with rebending.
Fingers crossed I can find someone in the UK that may be able to help!

Your example looks like aluminum so can be even harder to fix...
But the right specialist will know better than me.
Good luck!

Just cleaned it and it's mint condition. 99.9% of the plating is perfect. Got some blades too although rusty. What a great find.

Once it's fixed I'm not sure how it re assembles because of the way the reverse threads work against each other.

A Gillette branded Rotbart, I think post ww2. Nickel plated brass and zamak, the case is not familiar looking. Nice.

Hello,

there were two types, I know of, yours and the "classic" Rotbart type, with the base plate being fixed to the handle.
I suspect the separate head type should have come in a flat pocket holder.
