help to find a cheap travel razor

Can any body help me to find a cheap razor to be used when traveling. I' m searching for a Lorad , or a concord razor(new). In ebay they have them for $13/-.
Does any body know a site which is selling at lesser rate( with international shipping).

If you want a new travel razor then try to find a Feather Portable. I paid about $8.50 for mine. Shipping internationally can be expensive. I shipped some razors to Spain and it was $13.95. If you would consider used, then I would look for a Gillette Tech. I have one I paid $5 for a new condition Tech last week. They are great mild shavers and with a Feather, ASCO or a Medical Persona can be very effective.

Another razor which is new and constructed very well is the Feather Popular, it can be found on the bay or shaving vendors between 13-20 dollars.

the feather portable is a very small and effective razor. it is, however, a bit too aggressive for my tastes.

a 3 piece ball-handled tech makes a great travel razor. they're small, inexpensive and assemble into a full-sized razor. life it too short to shave with a tiny stub of a razor!

I agree. This is a high quality razor that should last you forever. It should be easy to find one in great shape in your price range. For a little more money, a Tuckaway makes a fantastic travel razor. This is the only smaller razor that I could use on a daily basis. The weight and balance make it a great shaver. I'm also partial to it's New Improved open combed head.

This is all great advice as long as you are not flying only with carry on. Only cartridge and disposables are allowed. You can have a razor without blades but have the bother of finding them at you location. Some members have recorded that even a DE sans blade caused fits with TSA-in this climate probably not worth it. When going by car I use a Feather Portable or an old Gillette travel razor. Gillette travel razors are available on ebay and often seen in antique stores-I think they were a common gift that was never used and are usually in great condition.

Second on the Tech...they are cheap as chips and you really can't get much smaller when disassembled.

I also agree that if you only carry on, get a good disposable and prove to yourself that your technique allows you to get a good shave with anything.

Gillette Tech all the way. Takes up almost zero space in the dopp kit when dissassembled and gives a presentable shave when used with a sharp blade (Astra for me). I also have a Lord Tech that I take along sometimes, too.
