Help needed

I bought this "Aristocrat" but wonder if I have a mismatch? I cant give you more pictures because still waiting for that razor to show up.

Aristocrat, imported from England. Thats what the case says. So you have French Case and a USA razor. Anf to top it all the razor that should be in the box should be marked 'made in England'. Still a good razor the New Standard amd the case is pretty good too. My Aristocrate lives in a Millord case when it's not out (which isnt very often). Enjoy your purchase.

.Thought so but it's ok. Razor looks good and will proberly be replaret anyway. So, what razor do I have to hunt down to that case?

I see a G-inside-D mark on the guard plate. From what we have seen that seems to mean the razor was destined for the French market. The case is also marked for France. But most likely they were sold separately, just as Achim suggests. Here is his photo of the No.15 set.

So the french razors in #15 all have the d in g mark? Is that correct? I've never seen one, can they be found?

No, I would not expect the G-inside-D on a #15 razor. It was plated in rhodium, and as far as I know we have only seen that mark on silver-plated and gold-plated razors. The New Improved that you pictured above has the mark, and should be plated in silver.

Enjoy your New. I dig mine. Used mine 12 hrs. ago with a new Crystal ,and voila-- bbs shave. Still good . Cleans up nicely with Scrubbing Bubbles. The head cap shines so much , it's like a light in the shaver! Enjoy!
