Help me find the right Gillette Tech

I have no chance to find Techs here and I'd LOVE to have a revamped 1950's Ball End Tech. Maybe in some way, one day...

I've got a Y2 53 Tech with a steel baseplate that I absolutely love, picked it up for under $15, it's a keeper.

Can someone point me in the direction of a likely candidate to start with?

The English Techs are generally considered more aggressive than USA made Techs, and the aluminum handled techs from the 70's are considered the mildest. They all shave great, depends on my mood which one I use.

IMHO you can’t go wrong with any of them. Pick one and use it daily for a couple of months, the good shaves will follow.

I did find a very nice pre-war fat handle tech, by the way. Have been trying a bunch of blades in it. I got derailed playing with some injectors and a FatBoy, but I did get a nice tech!

Fat handled tech, pre or post war are great razors. I would also recommend the english ball-end (non-aluminum version) or the english flat-bottomed tech. Any of the razors made before the zamac top caps are awesome.
