Help me date this razor please!

I bought a new razor today in an antique store. It's a Gillette razor, black handle, TTO, and it's adjustable. I believe it's from the mid 70's, but I could be wrong. I only paid 7 dollars for it, but I'd like to know more about it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I figured it out. It's a 1970 super adjustable with date code P 3. Sorry I couldn't post pics, my computers down, and I'm using my phone

Its usually on the bottom, but at some point they started putting it inside where the blade sits.

I'm pretty sure they moved the datecode to inside the bladetray in like 1978, when they started using that plastic piece under it instead of the original metal.

$7 for a Black Beauty is a great deal. That's the one I'm looking for myself, since 1970 is my birth year. Nice score. :)

I didn't feel like looking earlier but decided to just out of curiosity and it was made with the plastic bottom starting in 1977. God bless the Wiki.badger page.

Did you try telling the razor you like the design, the two-tone look, it's adjustabitlity, or it's convenient tto design? Hope the advice helps. I have to admit, I'm grasping for straws here. I've never tried to court a razor.
