Help me choose a font for etching

I will be shipping of my newly restored set of goldedges to Ray for spine etching with the days of the week.
I need help choosing a font. I have chosen 6 that I am considering. The winner of the poll will be placed on the backs.

Here are the fonts:

1. Brush Script Std

2. Vladimir Script

3. Engravers MT

4. Kunstler Script

5. Old English Text MT

6. Magneto

Please vote, and if you don't like any of them, I am certainly open to suggestions!

For print media, advertisements, etc.... I agree 100%. For pimping out luxury items, not so much.

Sorry. #5 is classic but on the spine, not enough room so too busy. #3 is cleaner.

I find it impossible to vote because I don't know what the razors it will go on look like. I can eliminate 2 and 4.

No one has voted for 6, but if you are going for a retro look it would be good. Compare to these:

i never realized how cool the Maserati typeface is. I like the idea of the retro font, just not #6. Of course, this all depends on the razor. Personally, I would lean toward something simple. Let's see the razor first.

Well, that's already defined your font! If you can't match it exactly, I say 6, (Magneto) since it is in the same spirit as the whole razor, "Goldedge" font and all (retro '40s) but different enough that it doesn't look like a failed attempt to match the font. My vote for 6 just went in!

The only other possibility is 3 (Engravers MT). It is simple enough to not clash but it doesn't add anything nor support the retro spirit.

Number 1 looks like a failed attempt at a match. All the others look like they belong in another universe.

Trust me -- I have a '40s avatar!
