Help. Cracked 1920s-30s New Travel.

I'll post pics shortly, but essentially there's one crack running the length of the handle, and another one 1/3 the ways around that runs about a half inch.

Any sort of DIY way to make it shave worthy? Its plating, especially the head is in decent shape.

i'll note that its a travel sized handle, (not sure if they were made with long ones) and its gold plating.
These are the markings.

Made in Canada
patented 1926-1929-1931
Other patents pending
<trade-Gillette-mark>

it also has a blade holder with some d-4 marked gillete super stainless baldes and some black gillete blue blades in the gold companion holder (from the 70s.) Funny that i've got a d-4 superspeed to go with em.

There might be a bitter trick but I would use epoxy

shouldnt affect the shave. If it does maybe some J.B weld

well the probelm is the head won't stay int he handle. So i would need to fix the crack so its snug friction fit, or just attach head to handle.

got a few things to do before i can take n post pics.

I have a new and am not fond of the handle. It feels light to me. Maybe we could work out some kind of a deal. PM me if interested.

I have a drawer full of NEW handles from buying them to replated the heads for my customs.
Send me a PM.

based on the smooth ring, knurling, smooth ring pattern of the handle i assume that it is a ball end +handle that matches.

Looks like a 1931-35 Goodwill. you might be able to epoxy the ends on the the handle

its missing the bottom, so worst case i'll epoxy the head to it.

I was a bit confused with the goodwill and "new"s. Are they two completely diff things? the timeline is a little hard to read in the b&b wiki.

You could always get another handle instead of sealing it with epoxy... I don't think it would be that difficult to find one in good condition. Check on BST or anyone up here that suggested a PM...
