hello, to all the wet shavers here. I have been spending a fortune on buying a 12 razor rotation. I became addicted to razors, starting when my grandfather left me his, and really became a problem when I grew a beard for the first time in my life, last winter.
My question is there any significance to the name of the gem junior in compaired to just a gem, in the 1912 model? I also wanted to make a coment on the gem industrial blades. I can not see how anyone likes those things. I can see the big difference on the edge in compared to a regular gem shaving blade, just by looking at it. I dont use them anymore, too many nicks. those things took all the joy out of shaveing for me. I felt like I was being to frugal to buy a regular blade. I used a micromatic for twenty years, starting at age 16 so I know how to use a single edge razor.
One last , but most mention. I walked into an antique shop and bought a double ring with out a case in nice black tarnished condition for 30 bucks, Yesterday! lucky or what. Any one know what to use on cleaning it? thanks and its nice to be here.
