Heljestrand Model Details and Images

I have one of the framebacks, without a model number on it. Looks exactly like the one in the compendium (except its been rescaled), but I don't see a frameback listed under any of the models. Any idea what it is?

First pictures were meh, here's a better one :)

The "stand" is a piece of shell pulled from an old cigar box

Here's a photo of an MK no 8 that doesn't seem to be in the wiki. Yet another from my needs work pile. Blade needs polishing and honing.

From the same pile, a Heljestrand No.8. not in the best condition. The blade needs a lot of work, but should be a great user grade razor when I get around to working on it. Can be used as a stop gap for the wiki until a better photo is available.

I noticed the MK30 photo in the wiki differs considerably from mine. Most notably the absence of the thumb notch clearly visible in my example.

Please see attached photo. It's a 4/8 dressed in ivory. Feel free to add if you wish.

Actually, upon having had another look, the MK30 in the wiki does have a thumb notch. My apologies. It wasn't obvious to me at first glance.

Thanks Matt. We can only use images that we have copyright to; so they have to be uploaded to B&B by members (who grant us that right).

You could always buy it for science and share your unboxing pics! :D

I think it already sold, but regardless, 4/8 is my limit on the small end of things. For the sake of the wiki, it was stamped "MK No 24 3/8" much like the 5/8 versions were.
