Heirloom strops hype or the real deal. A review.

I just got my used Heirloom Horween strop today and wow oh wow. A work of art and a breeze to strop on and i've NEVER been able to strop anything without dulling the blade. This thing sets you on auto-pilot. I had tried on cheapo crapollas strops this is NOT cheap or crap, this is a gold standard of strops. couldn't be more impressed from everything from hardware to usability.

I asked about strops and heirloom came up all the time, knowing he's on the forum and a vender I thought he was everybody's friend and made ok strops but it was mostly hype for a buddy. I was SOOOOOOO wrong. pure excellence. 11/10 stars.

I reluctantly contacted Tony Miller about buying a used strop, figured he wouldn't really even answer about buying a used product (he already made his money) and he would blow me off or answer just enough not to be rude. WRONG, spoke to him several times and he goes out of his way to explain things, care for instructions, etc. I really was shocked since he wasn't talking to a new customer but someone who said he's buying a USED strop of his brand. He was excellent. The United States of America needs more of this type of company.

Hats off to Tony and Heirloom strops. the best of the best.

He is a smart businessman, and he knows that even if you are not willing or able to pay for a new strop as your first one, providing great customer service is going to be remembered and appreciated when it is time for you to upgrade, and he will be your first choice.

You are right when you say that is how more businesses should be run. Looking towards long term success through quality products and satisfied customers, not just the grab for the quick buck.
