Just thought I'd let you all know that after hours of searching on the worldwide web I have AT LAST found a Traditional Genuine Barbershop in my part of the UK!!!!!!!!!
Ok well it's not actually in my county of Nottinghamshire - but is in the next county of South Yorkshire about 40 miles away in the wonderful industrious city of Sheffield! (About an hour from where I reside)!!!!
The 'Groooming Room' as it's known offer what the guys on here would call a ''traditional cut throat shave'' - not just that though they offer everything for the descerning modern day shaver yet still with the emphasis on being traditional – such delights as "Ultimate Shave" (Includes hot towel, pre-exfoliation, head & shoulder massage) and the one I tried Turkish Luxury Wet Shave (Includes Head & Shoulder Massage) with a Head shave and Beard Trim and re-style! All of which were carried out by a good looking guy who has been trained by his father back in Kashmir since the age of 13 years.
The ‘cut throat’ shave I would have to say is THE best closest shave I have EVER experienced – it left my skin feeling so smooth and all the beard tidy and re-style were carried out with such precision free hand. To follow the neck and shoulder massage which left me so relaxed and revived putting it into words doesn’t do it justice – you have got to try it for yourself and then you will know what I mean!!!!!
