St. Peter says to Jesus, "Yo, JC, I have a meeting with the big man. I need you to man the desk for about 15 minutes. Begrudgingly JC agrees, although he admits he's not comfortable. St Peter assures his he has nothing but faith in him. "You'll do fine. Take the desk and you decide. If it feels right, invite them up the stairs, if not, pull the bugs bunny trap door and down they go."
The first man to show up is about 6'6", long white flowing garb and long white hair. Jesus beckons him, "Sit." Tell me about your life. The man in an indistinct accent says, I had a boy I made with my own hands. There was no wife. He has nail holes on his hands and tarsals. I lost him very young, and not a day has passed by without me wondering where my boy has gone."
Jesus is intrigued. The hint of a tear runs down his face.
He asks the man after a moments' hesitation, "Father? Are you he? The man leans forward and says, "Pinocchio?"
