HdP Marquis de Sade

I spent an enjoyable half hour in a great perfumerie this afternoon and the very knowledgeable assistant walked me around the store in a search for a new winter scent. Leather notes/woody notes/spice notes were where we started and after a trip through aouds, frankincense and several others we ended up here: Marquis de Sade

I've been letting a little of the juice develop on my wrist for the last couple of hours and I am more and more impressed. Does anyone have any experience with this at all?

According to Basenotes this is how the profile looks:

Top Notes
* Bergamot, Davana sensualis


Middle Notes
* Patchouli coriander, Cardamom


Base Notes
* Cedar, Elemi, Leather, Labdanum

No direct experience with it but this frag has intrigued me since first reading about it. Would love to get a bottle.

i have a small decant that arrived yesterday. I have yet to try it, but I am looking forward to it.

With a wild name like that, it really gets the imagination going on how it must smell.
