What's new

Hawcroft & Pearson

I was asked to post a photo of my Hawcroft & Pearson, so here it is. (It's an old photo of poor quality, sorry.)

The H&P blade is 6/8" in a satin finish. The scales are genuine ivory. (The scales were genuine ivory.)

The blade fell to the ground and one side broke. The razor is currently being restored with custom magic: ultra mirror finish, red/orange/yellow scales, shepherd's cross pinning, adjustable pivot, etc.

(I'll post the NOW photos in about a week.)

Thanks,
Christopher

I asked Chris to post this pic...he has BIG plans for its restoration...you know it is going to be a knockout!!! Thanks CJB!!!

It's my pleasure. It sets me up to show it off next week! =)

By the way...the H&P is one of my favorite shaves.

CJ...Don't know what your plans are but you should take the broken scale and sand/shape into a tool for scooping shave cream out of the tub.

Wonderful idea! (I use an antique silverplate sugar spoon for the cream, tho.) Maybe I'll give it a try anyway.
