Several days ago the 'new posts' function was changed from being handled by cookies to a more accurate method of being handled by the database. While this is a change for the better, it might appear that you just can't get the icons in the forum listings to change from the "Forum Contains New Posts" icon to the "Forum Contains No New Posts" icon even though you know you've read every single post in that particular forum.
This is just a byproduct of the switch, and can be remedied by clicking the "Mark Forums Read" link at the bottom of the main forum page (or for your convenience, you can click here as well). What this will do is...mark the forums as read. This means even if there are posts you have not yet read, it will mark them as read.
