Haven't asked a newbie question in a bit...

I hear the phrase "bloom" a lot describing a brush, or "post bloom" - now I know that it is the brush after it has been used when the bristles are typically a little splayed - but, when it it "blooming"? immediately following the shave (while still wet perhaps) or say after several hours when it's dry? Not that it matters - but i'm curious. My restore was bloomed considerably for 24 hours after its first use and has now seemed to go back.

In my experience, I see a lot of splay when the brush is still wet after the first use, that contracts a bit when it's dried. After several uses, the brush settles into its "bloomed" state.
