Have Savile Row, want to order Shavemac 2-Band

Hello,

I have been using a QED Savile Row 3824 brush for over ten years, and wanting to order a "spare", but thinking of going to Shavemac for one with 2-Band Silvertip, still in bulb shape. The SR3824 is my favorite size, very soft, and much preferred to my 'travel' Rooney Style 3 22mm, which feels quite small and good for only one pass typically. I somewhat-heavily load a very wet brush, which gets me part way there, then face lather the last half.

Do any of you have suggestions regarding the size and height knot to order in 2-Band to gain some backbone, but not lose the bloom size?

Go at least 50mm in height if you want any bloom.

The Shavemac 2-bands are terrific!!

I have two of their Silvertips, one 22 and the other a 25mm knot both in the fan shape which works great for me. So, I cannot comment on the bulb (although I expect that it would also be excellent).

Mine were both from Rudy Vey, a true gentleman who is very knowledgeable about his craft! You can also order directly from Shavemac.

Also look into D01 2 band if you like dense brushes.
