Hat In Hand . . . Humbled

Attention Gentlemen . . . I have really big news that may come as no surprise to you folks here, but I say to you here in an open forum that I had misjudged the OCMM in the worst kind of way! Not only is this mighty little giant ready and willing . . . it is certainly very capable of delivering a closer than I would've ever expected shave. My face is now what I call smooth as a baby's bottom. I had the razor in wrong the whole of my last shave and as you can imagine it was very disappointing. I went in to the den to get it under-way and I just knew that I had the grip right and trusted that the Mircomatic would do what it was born to do. It does and then some! WOW! I'M SO HAPPY WITH THIS RAZOR RIGHT NOW!

Three passes . . . Done!

I am glad to hear that you had a great shave with this razor!! I had a similar experience when I first tried the OCMM. I bought one off the bay and without knowing much about them proceeded to try it when it arrived. I should have really examined it because the blade stops were dulled. The razor just free floated inside the head of the razor. This resulted in a horrible and bloody shave. My face appeared mangled. Thanks to the good folks here, I was able to determine it wasn't me that was broken. It was a faulty razor. I proceeded to buy another and when I tried it out, (with trembling hands due to my experience), I received one of the best shaves ever! These razors are amazing to shave with, and always give me great BBS and comfortable shaves.
It's great to hear you had a good experience with these amazing razors! Congrats!!

Yes, Yes! I personally find the first shave off a new blade to be a bit harsh (on most of my SE razors). After the first shave (and all the way through the 9th or 10 shave) it is usually smooth sailing. I usually discard the stainless Pela blade after 10 shaves, even though it can probably go for one or two more shaves.
