Has anyone tried Van Der Hagen Men's Dual Action Bar Soap?

I know there are fans of Van Der Hagen's shave soaps, but I haven't seen any mention about this soap.

Yes, I use van der hagen's dual action soap- it's really a great soap. Lathers to a full-bodied, soft fragrance. Leaves the skin refreshed and not rough or scratchy. A little pricey- but I'm worth it!

I've not seen this product in the stores in Texas yet. Ironic given that VDH is headquartered here. I'll have to look for it. It's certainly worth a try. I use VDH glycerin soap to make superlather every day. It's the best for me. I've tried all their shave soaps and like the plain glycerin the best. A combo soap has some real potential - particularly for travel.

I bought a 3 pack of the DA bar off Amazon when I bought my 12 pack VDH Deluxe. I like the DA, and use it to wash my face and head (I have little to no hair). It works great! I have never used it to shave with though.

Ok, I saw "DA Bar" and thought of "da cube" those method shavers are always talking about. So for them it's "da cube" maybe for the rest of us it'll be "da bar." I'm anxious to give it a try for both showering and shaving.

One side is all glycerin, the other side is like the Select bar. It should shave fine.
