Has anyone tried acqua di Parma cream ?

I tried colonia cologne in the shop and I really liked the scent so I’m keen to get the adp shave cream.

It’s a bit pricey so before I go ahead I wanted to ask if

1) it’s easy to lather ?

2) is it a good quality cream?

Yes,last year I bought 2 tubs when amazon has aan 9ffer. Excellent and fine ingredients.
However, the price on amazon UK is sky high so won't be buying any more. Lovely cream but not worth the current price.

The AdP shaving cream is outstanding - makes a great lather very easily. I especially recommend their aftershave tonic too - “Tonico Dopobarba”, they label it. It has the AdP Colonia scent that you like, the scent lasts quite long, and it really makes your skin condition great. It’s the best quality aftershave I’ve ever used.

They are all pricey but with all the AdP products I think you’re getting the best quality formulations available.

ADP is a great shave cream with traditional cologne scent.
Excellent performance.
Yes, pricey.
But, life is short!

I have the AdP liquid bath soap. That is why I like Fine Italian Citrus soap and AS. Smells the same to me. But no way to compare to the AdP cream performance since I do not have it.

Special stuff. It’s the shaving equivalent of owning a Ferrari.

And isn’t it an amazing fragrance? Made in 1916 but it isn’t dated at all - it seems completely modern. This is what Cary Grant wore, and David Niven, and Audrey Hepburn. Then, in 1993 Luca di Montezemolo (chairman of Ferrari) bought the company (which still only had one fragrance) with some other investors and transformed it into the global brand we see today, selling to LVMH in 2001.

That’s an interesting history. I never knew that.
Yeah the scent is really pleasant. I opened the shave cream and it’s so nice. I’m waiting for the aftershave to arrive before using it. It seemed to have a hard texture more like a soap/croap which suits me just fine.

Just for your awareness, there is the 125g soft shaving cream tub that sarimento1 showed, and there is the product in a 99g tube. Both have the excellent scent we expect. It may well be that the reason I consider my 125g tub to be more of a thicker croap rather than a shaving cream is because it is so old (hey - I am almost done with it!), but the 99g tube is a squeeze-like toothpaste version where a small amount goes a long way. I use that mostly for travel in my dopp kit, but alas, in tightening the cap one time, it snapped off and I have to keep it in a Ziploc bag now. Same thing happened to my last three Acca Kappa 1869 shaving cream tubes, so I obviously I am tightening these too much in and attempt to reduce evaporation, LOL.

I received this cream from a participant of the Russian shaving forum. Of course, this is a cream with good characteristics. But they're not great enough to pay a lot of money for it for me. I got this cream for free, but I won't buy it.

First shave with it yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Liked it more than my PAA soaps of which I now regret buying so many.
I was concerned it might irritate my skin like noble otter did but it was fine.
If they had more scents I’d get them too.
The first brush I tried was too big so went smaller. Then realised it really is more of a cream and just scooped it

Bought this due to amazon's reduced price. Very nice semi hard soap or croap. Lovely scent lemony with a nice of menthol. Not much needed. I now scrape a little off and bowl lather. However, face lathering feels luxury.
