Hamol shaving cream

This was a very unusual and nice find for me. Because of the political situation in Syria, where this cream is from I have a feeling that it may not be available anymore. It was used in Syrian barbershops and very popular with wetshavers over there. It’s got a nice, fresh scent with great lather as well as a mild menthol sensation and very good blade glide. I have no idea about the price because it was sent to me in a trade.

I think the embargoes against syria might prevent these from being shipped out.

Also, there aren't many ships and planes entering and leaving syria.

For now I’m ok because I have a tube in use and a backup. This is one cream I would love to keep in my rotation for as long as I can.

I travel a lot just for fun, in my last visit to Germany a couple of months ago, I found myself in a Syrian supermarket and I found a good stock of them. And for £1.50 a piece I decided to grab them all.
