My lovely GF had a pumpkin spice latte this morning. I stuck with plain black coffee, as always. 
Do Americans like pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving?

Some do, some don't. I love a good pumpkin pie almost any time.
As much as Canadians like returning things on Boxing Day!
So ... three more weeks of pumpkin spice.
And even longer. It never goes away. It's just more prevelant this time of year due to the fall / winter food and beverage offerings.
This whole pumpkin spice thing is getting out of hand!
