Halloween Facial Hair

I have been growing my beard out for 2 weeks because I need a chin strap to go with my costume. I was quickly reminded why I quit maintaining a beard. It is so itchy I have been wanting to pull it out by the root for about a week now. I can't wait to shave it off.

Anyone else enduring a beard for bafoonery?

I've been growing mine out since the last few days of September. Not intentionally for Halloween, but I'm thinking I'll go to the office next Friday as Alan from the Hangover.

In 2001 I had a beard, but shaved most of it off to play a Lone Ranger type character for Halloween. My med school class had a big costume party every year. I kept the mustache for a little while and briefly had the monicker of "porn star." Glad to have gotten rid of that one...

I actually get to shave a little bit more for Halloween this year. Our church small group is doing a murder mystery dinner with an Old West theme. I usually keep a modern goatee (circle beard) but plan to go with the mustache/soul patch combo, kinda the Tom Selleck western movie look.

Tonight we are going to a costume/dinner party and we are doing a murder mystery thing, too. It's all couples from our church so it should be good fun. I'll have to post some pictures tomorrow.

I'm heading to an early Halloween party tonight. Going as a bearded lady, but kind of forgot that i need a beard for that. Was having too much fun with OCtober. So now I'm going as a stubbled lady, sporting a 36 hour growth. With the way my hair grows though it might just pass as a beard :)

Nice. Whenever the words "costume" and "party" are put in the same sentence my wife rolls her eyes. Still it does mean that she sometimes wins party awards for "least effort in a costume" :)

very cool oufits and ideas on that gnome set. BTW, once it grows a bit more, the beard does indeed completely stop itching. lol
