Had to share what I just picked up.

I just got my newest find off of ebay and had to share what I got. I snagged a 1965 Gillette slim adjustable in surprisingly good shape for 15 bucks plus shipping. The numbers are still 100% black, with the exception of a dot between the 7 and 9. The plating is still in excellent shape, and the seller made sure it was surprisingly clean. So I was able to check another item off the list of things that I would like to acquire.

This was my first razor, period. My father bought one for me, one for him...in 1963 I believe. I still have his. Haven't seen the other in a long time. Well made hardware - my dad's looks new too. Congratulations on your find!

Well done! Savor that deal! I'd say you got in under the radar. Great price at $15. Great shape compared to most. Great razor in anyone's estimation. I have bid and won on two '63 Slims in lesser condition and ther cost be $20-25 on the bay.
