What's new

FS Haburn 210mm Gyuto in 52100 Steel.

Unfortunately I need to raise some funds, so sadly my Haburn 210mm Gyuto will have to go.

It was made as part of team knife run on Kitchen Knife Fora in 2015, and this is 1 of 10 that were available.

The knife isn't stamped with anything extra, just the Haburn logo, everything else is on the accompanying plaque.

I have only used it about 15-20 times, and it hasn't been used in the last 2 years as I kept it more as a display knife. Never been sharpened and still pretty sharp now.

There is a bit of patina on it as you can see, I'll leave it on there and let the new owner decide whether they want to clean it up.

Knife specs:

52100 steel

Heel height approx 46mm.

Heel to tip approx 213mm.

Handle approx 135mm.

Overall approx 363mm.

Weight approx 189g.

Handle is Cocobolo with an African Blackwood ferrule.

I'm in the UK, so it's a good opportunity for someone over here to get a Haburn without paying any VAT or customs fees etc.

I'm looking for £600, which is around $820. UK delivery is included. Now £495/$675

US postage is around £40 inc full insurance, I'll split it with buyer, so US shipping will be £20.

Pics to follow!

Wow, an absolute stunner. My wife is just getting into quality kitchen knives (although not that high end) so I know this has to be hard to part with. Good luck with the sale.

I feel really sad for you having to cut this knife loose. I also feel sad for your knife for not being used everyday. But this isn't your first go around for thinning your cutlery.

You UK members should jump on this. Nothing improves your cooking pleasure like quality cutlery! GLWS

Only just seen this!

Thanks for the kind words!👍

I could never do it justice with an offer (think Hekels category knives). But I wish you the best in this sale. I hope you get an offer that is a win-win. Those, in my opinion, are the best kind.

Thanks for your message😊
I can drop the price quite a bit, but not down to Henckels prices I'm afraid😅

I would never even suggest such a thing. It a beauty and deserves a fair price. I am certain you will find someone who can make you an offer that is a win-win, even though it may take a while. I would hate for you to feel short changed in the deal.
