H. Boker monarch clean up and rescale

This is a nice little H. boker Monarch that I cleaned up and scaled for a local. I was not able to find any info on the "Monarch" model anywhere. Might have been made for a retailer or some such. The blade was in good shape just in need of a good shine. The goldwash (I assume it had it at some point) is gone but the engraving is in good order. the scales are made from Yellow Cedar with a CA glue finish.

such great looking wood. It however is so brittle. It took 4 sets of scales to get one that was a keeper. If i used s sander it would be better. since I hand sand everything the pressure gets to it often.
