Gun Show here was canceled

After taking the dog for her morning walk I drove past the venue at 7:30 this morning and saw an empty parking lot. No vehicles. No trailers. No cops parked outside providing overnight security. Nothing.

Huh. I obviously didn't get the memo.

Too many poors here for vendors to commit. I think a lot of people have reached their spending limit on guns and gun stuff now that Bidenbux and dole payments have ended.

I would guess vendors having trouble getting inventory is a big part of it.

Last time I went to the show here it took about 30 minutes to go through it all. And that's counting stopping and looking at tables, and talking to a retired Ranger I used to work with that had a bunch of SAAs at a table. If I remember right the admittion was $15.

I could show you where the national Bigfoot hunters went looking up by the lake.

beanie babies
cheap chinese-made 'martial arts' weapons
scented candles
dream catchers
silver jewelry
miracle knife sharpeners
miracle glass cleaner
miracle anything

Yet too many promoters seem hell-bent on allowing these clowns in just to make a profit on tables.

We are 15.2 above the national poverty rate and Texas is 13.6 above. That is a 1.6 percent difference Mike? Neither of those are in the top 10 states in the nation.

I guess you win? Gotta beat us at something, cuz it sure hasn’t been football as of late?
