Sorry these aren't pro-quality photos, but I couldn't find another forum ...this is about a guitar I just finished putting together and an amp I've always wanted to try, one of which was just loaned to me yesterday. It's a 1976 Boogie Mark 1, an amp that Carlos Santana made famous back in the day. Coincidentally, the new issue of guitar Player arrived today and the cover story is about this amp and the customized Santana version, which is being newly-remarketed. I don't do acoustics so far. But last night I was put in my place watching Bruce Cockburn from the second row - his guitars sounded HUGE, even when he was tuning and excluding the PA. This woman is a genius.

Nice axe Man. What kind of wood did you use? Also, what pick-ups did you use. It looks heavy, is it? I bet it sustains for days with that Boogie cranked up! I had a studio 22 that Mesa made back in the day, it was a nice amp.
