It's not a custom order. eBay brush. Seller got it in france. Check the Handle shape... it's a 24mm knot. I got a hell of a steal on it.
Nice grab. How much did you pay for it? Common spill the other stats! Is it a D01? Loft?
I thought the handle was a bit rounder with a bigger base than normal, but I could not put my finger on it as I sold my Kimson a while ago.

I don't actually know the maker for certain. The handle is a Plisson or a blatant ripoff. The hair is an extremely nice three band. Soft but still tons of backbone. Loft is ~52-53mm, which is about a cm shorter than the standard lofts Plisson specs show, and also it's a fan (most plissons seem to be Bulbs). Seller said he picked it up at a shaving store in France for "More than 160 Euros". I snagged it for about $50. Mwahahaha. If I were asked to guess, I'd say discontinued Plisson EW brush. If so I REALLY got a deal. Even if it's a Shavemac Plisson knockoff, I still got a deal. Either way I'm happy as a pig in mud. Or a Badger in the blood of its enemies.
Oh and it's got more hair in it than either my 24mm D01 or my 28mm Simpsons Chubby 3. The shavemac is pretty close though and the hairs are very similar in coloring.

No joke, the Shavemacs are close to $200 for a 23mm. The stats for the Shavemac brushes are 23 by 53. It seems to be a match on that front. Plissons are even more loot.

Yeah, it's VERY similar to a Shavemac. The only experience I've got with a Plisson is an 18mm 2 band that isn't nearly this dense, so I can't really judge the hair. I was figuring it for a Plisson mostly based on the handle.

here they are side by side and topdown (Shavemac DO1 on the right). This new brush is much flatter (very flat fan) and 2-3mm less loft (maybe because it's flatter?).
its a damn nice brush whatever it really is, I'd be proud to have one like it on my shelf.... or in a felled forest of straights, where ever floats your boat.

Ok, used it just now.
First: Seller didn't own a Caliper. It's a 26mm, not 24mm.
Second: It was unused. Check out the bloom on this monster (50mm loft Chub 3 (more like a chub 2, but stamp on it says 3), Monster, 55mm loft 24mm D01)
I've found some pics online of shavemac copies of the Rooney Handles. I'm starting to suspect this is a 26mm D01 @~50mm loft with a very flat fan cut.

I could tell by the overhead shot it had not seen much action. That is one big bloom. My "used" Chubby 3 did the same thing. I am happy to report it was still bleeding badger hair grease the first 3 uses. How did you like the big surface? The Chubby took some getting used to but it covers my whole face in one pass and my whole neck in one. I bet you found something similar.

Those pics tell me it's a large Rooney knot custom handle.My T-H branded Rooney has the exact same measurements.The shape of the loft and density in the pics say it's a rooney as well.

I'm not sure on how I feel about the huge surface area. Shave was great. I'll have to do a side by side compare to see whether I prefer the tighter bunched hair chubs or this one. I will note that it had no prickliness whatsoever, which was a surprise.

If it helps anyone with an ID... it smells like Hotel towels (that fabric softener they use). Absolutely 100% match for smell. No question.
I can't really tell you anything except that the hair grade looks like super silvertip.Look at these pics and compare.Your brush knot looks really alike to mine.
